ben slimane?

salamu alaykom,

just wondering do any of you know anything about an area in morocco called ben slimane?

Hubby bought some land there and we are gonna be building a factory,so eventually im gonna be living in that area of morocco

Is it a nice area?

I have lived in casa before for around 3months but havnt gone anywhere else in morocco

Yeah my husband told me its got a lovely forest and i think a beach near by

i tried google but i couldnt really find much info

I know is about 45 min away from casa its kinda between casa and rabat

Hopefully someone here knows more info about it

np sis,

an apartment will cost you anywhere from 40 to 60 million maghrebia depending on size and location.

I only know of a few private schools for children in primary education, the older children have to travel further out to either mohammedia or casa.

ummm..there is NO KESIRIYA Shocked

its shocking for shopping, thats the one thing i dont like about benslimane, you cant even get descent pattiserie. its very basic in terms of shops!
but dont panic you have casa 35mins away and rabat 35 mins away in the opposite direction if you want a kesiriya, it really is well situated.

The forest is beautiful we live right in the middle of it in actual fact Laughing

benslimane is known as the green city so there is plenty of greenery around!

the beaches are not too far away, you have both bouznika and mohammedia both close by, benslimane is kind of slotted inbetween both towns and set back a bit inland.
bouznika is a 15 minute drive and mohammedia 25 mins.

I dont have any pics of benslimane to share Confused

but i found these clips on youtube which are really recent all from this summer just gone. the picture quality isnt great in some places, but it will give you an idea of the place.

i will ask my rass el mehrez husband about poulation when he gets in from work

The climate, summer its hot but chilly in the evenings, its much nicer in the forest where we are (layouane ain tizgha) a lovely breeze you never get REALLY hot.
winter its the same as the rest of morocco really.... but its brrrrrrrrrrr brrrrrrrrrrr brrrrrrrrrr in the evening! actually i just remembered i need to add another brrrrrrrrrrrr. (thats better) the temp really drops where we are and i thank goodness for my open fire! Shocked

shokran for all the info it helped give me an idea of what its like

the housing seems expensive,what kind of apartment are you thinking of ,is it the really poshy looking ones or just a standard looking apartment say 2 bdrms

Because when i was living in casa we stayed in an area called hay mohammadi and it was much cheaper to buy a house there,for the place we were renting the owner wanted 260,000 dirham which is about 26 million maghrebia

plz shed some light on this because as everyone knows once you gotta house in maghreb your well set there

,so its really important

you wont find anything in benslimane for that price, at a push and something quire run down perhaps.
I'm really clued up with prices as my brother in law is building an apartment block at the moment, and we have been researching prices in order for him to sell when they are ready at a good price.

40 million maghrebia is the lowest price for a 2 bed NORMAL appt nothing posh or flashy and if you wanted more m2 then you will find they can go for as much as 60 million maghrebia.

Benslimane property shot up in price once the new airport was opened, it was pretty much overnight!

by the way what factory is your hubby building out of interest?
