We are back for another Eid 7awli appeal, the Moroccanstar community donations to help buy sheep for the poor families in Morocco.
“That which you give for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase); it is those who will get a recompense multiplied.” (Qur’an, 30:39)
The celebrations of Eid-ul-Adha this year will be marred by the awful floods witnessed across the north of Morocco, Many families will be not be able to afford the celebratations and will go without.
We together can make a differance and help the needy, let us take this opportunity to show our generosity and love for our fellow Moroccans. The victims of these floods need our generous support.
"Mu‘aadh bin Jabal (r.a.) related from the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) also said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his Sadaqah.” (Ahmad)
You can donate through Moroccanstar using the 'donations eid appeal' block at the top right of the homepage, click on the 'Paypal donate' button.
We need all donations to be made by the Dec 4th 2008 so we can buy the sheep in time inshAllah.

The reason that makes those people take money out from thier pockets and donate to the poor people is the same reason that will make [me] or anyone else, deliver the money as it is without taking one dirham.

what part of that didnt you understand?
i meant if you wanted to donate through MS yeah? even though its using paypal you dont need to have a paypal acct yourself, you have the option to donate using a debit or credit card when you get sent to the paypal page.

I would like to say a big thankyou to all those of you that have donated money to the Moroccanstar Eid Hawlee Appeal. So far we have raised
£290.00
Can anyone else that would like to donate please do so over the next 24hrs as the money needs to be withdrawn from the Moroccanstar paypal acct which takes 3-5 working days in order to be sent to Morocco in time for Eid InshAllah.

I would like to share pictures with you taken by 'moroccan' our moderator who was kind enough to find the 2 families we were able to help this year and ensure the money we raised reached them alhamdolillah.
The money raised was used to help to 2 families in need.
The first a mother of 2 handicapped children, her son looked very impressed with his Eid Hawlee thanks to you!
we had some money left over once we had bought the sheep for the 2 families, so we used it to buy the mother supplies of nappies she desperately needed for her handicapped children, she was using mikaat.
The second family we helped you may well recognise, it was the man shown sobbing on 2M after his home was flooded in the larache rain storms.

This has been another successfull Moroccanstar Eid Hawlee appeal, thankyou for your generosity we have made a differance for 2 families alhamdolillah!
May Allah bless you abundantly for your donations and accept our deeds Ameen.
