Attached is a Ramadan Health Guide produced by Communities in Action and supported by the NHS.
Many of the foods which are recommended and encouraged in this booklet are also mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, and the Sunnah.

I highly recommend you read the booklet for your own knowledge.

The sad thing is  only few people follow the sunnah. Our BELOVED PROPHET OF TRUTH  Mohammad saws told us to eat 1/3 drink 1/3 and leave 1/3 empty . why? because the signal  from the stomach is sent later to the brain to tell it that the person is full ie  what the limit is  . so if one fills himself to  the limit the brain gets used to that level and hence  will  send the signal in the next feed to level  of last limit reached  so l  therefore the person will eat more and more.
where as if the person leave 1/3 empty by the time the brain recieve the message it would be just ok. balanced
