are western democracies really military dictatorships masquerading with a facade of democracy?

below is a link to an open letter to a group of "prominent" "leftist" intellectuals, complaining of how they ignore the evidence of a government 9/11 conspiracy and fall back on name-calling and insults instead of replying with facts.
by refusing to argue with scientific evidence, they are showing that they are afraid of something---of losing their respected positions and their incomes. if there was a conspiracy and western democracies are a fraud, then all of their learned discourses and moralistic outrage means nothing ie. they are part of the facist smokescreen (no matter how liberal they are).
here is an excerpt:
Chris Hayes faulted the Truth Movement for focusing on what he called “physical minutiae,” such as “the altitude in Pennsylvania at which cellphones on Flight 93 should have stopped working.” It would appear,
however, that the FBI took such “minutiae” seriously: When it issued a report in 2006 on the (alleged) phone calls
from the 9/11 airliners, the FBI designated only two of them as having been made on cell phones,
and both of those, the FBI said, had been made from Flight 93 when it, about to crash, was at a low altitude.
All the other reported calls from this flight (as well as all the reported calls from the other flights) were
said to have been made from onboard phones, including three to five calls that Deena Burnett reported having received from her husband, Tom Burnett.
This change of story got rid of the problem of technologically impossible (miraculous) phone calls, but it created another problem:
How to explain the reports of approximately ten calls from this flight that, according
to the recipients, had been made on cell phones? In some cases, we might assume, the recipients had misunderstood,
or misremembered, what they had been told. But Deena Burnett said – and she reported this to
phone, as the FBI now claims, the fact that his cell phone number repeatedly showed up on her Caller ID would have to count as a miracle.

Only in America....I do hope that people are not making money whipping up rediculous conspiracy theories after all this time. What happened was obvious ..deal with it. Time would be better spent in attempting to understand the reason's behind why it happened.

For so long i almost believed in the conspiracies but now I am 100% sure that it was done by evil people who were into porn, clubing and alcohol drinking and yet claim to do it for God when Islam abhort such acts .
Yes there are many questions that need answers but the facts are almost 3000 were killed in one go just like Hiroshima bomb that killed millions in one go, the number here is not important .what matters is that the USA ([b]those who caused evil only[/b])did evil things to Muslims and they deserved to be punished yes they do and they will by the will of God when they return to God but the punishment for us human beings should have been through legal system boycot etc....and not revenge. revenge is never a solution because it created a chain reaction where the weak get punished and the strong get away with it.
The evil act resulted in mass killing of More Muslims and non muslims so whoever decided to do 9/11 was the real evil and deserve to be called so.
There are more evil people to fight they still cause killings and plan to kill more we should all fight them and stop their evil plans even if it means getting help from unfriendly sources. imagine you are travelling on aplane with ababy and suddently a crazy man says bomb on board and you ask why? the answer because the owner is evil and what about the 200 +?????? innocents??????? revenge is an act of satan

the person who wrote the letter is not asking for revenge, merely an open investigation.

no one in a position of governmental authority nor in the media will deal with the facts he presents.

"ridiculous", "what happened was obvious".....that's exactly the type of response he is talking about.

"of course the world is flat, it's obvious, any other idea is ridiculous." that's what they said for centuries.

he and others have all sorts of evidence and it is just dismissed....it is not allowed for discussion.

"what happened was obvious", yes- two planes flew into the two tall buildings- and another into the pentagon

but how the buildings fell and why building 7 fell (without being hit) is what these "crazies" are talking about.

Well there are always "experts" ready and willing to prove or disprove any theory you would wish. Doesn't change the outcome of the event. Knowing how it happened will not necessarily prevent the same thing happening again. However understanding the reasons why terrorists needed to commit such an act killing innocent people is I think more important. Because as an act of protest against American foreign policy it's pretty damn poor, not to say cowardly and I should guess unislamic too.

Also it just plays into the US hands and gives them the excuse they want to get the big guns out and go shoot some people.

this is not about theories, neither scientific theories nor conspiracy theories. steel loses its strength at a certain temperature, established by rigorously controlled experiments, and there is no debate.

the man on the street tells these professional engineers (whose experience and consciences have forced them to speak up) to "move on" considering the 9/11 tragedy a "case closed".

the man on the street accuses these professional engineers of concocting conspiracy theories (no matter how carefully they avoid any speculation of that sort, no matter how rigidly they stick to straight science) and trying to profit from them (no matter that they present their facts for free downloading).

the man on the street, always ready with an opinion, will invariably change the focus, finding s way to divert attention to the horrible nature of the crime or the goals and souls of the culprits.

what amazes these professionals who are experts in their fields is they receive the same treatment from the leftist intellectuals famous for their moral outrage at the perfidy of politicians and supposedly the conscience of our society. they too resort to ridicule, red herrings and branding them as "conspiracy nuts".

OK.... Suppose you put us all out of our misery and tell us just how the man in the street should be thinking on this one. In laymans terms seeing as the average man in street has neither the knowledge or understanding of the experts.

Then we can all rest easy and figure out why some misguided individuals feel the need to kill themselves and others to make a point.

I, being a man on the street myself, do not have the necessary education and experience to judge one way or another.

and so, all i can do is wait and see how it plays out. wait and see whether the questions are ever answered or even debated (rationally and calmly) at all.

Bienperdido, one thing is clear from your posts ..... Weather or not you think you do not have the education or experience, you for sure have the intelligence. Your posts although I don' t always agree with are concise and thought provoking.
