i was watching 2M and I saw people rushing up to the king
and kissing his hand, and there would be a queue of about a 100
people waiting to kiss the same exact spot...
I would cringe If I had to..how about you>? |

Just wnated to say that Kissing elderly hands is encouraged in Islam and also bending in front of a king is not against Islam it is a form of respect. check out the surat of Yusuf in the Quran when he as prophesied that 11 stars and the sun and the moor were bowing to him which turns out to be his 11 brothers and his mum and dad. also all Angels were bowing to Adam As as a sign of respect except Ibliss who was arrogant
It is wrong when you bow to a person knowing he holds the keys to provision .
all us as kids used to to kiss the elderly hands itis only in Europe where you see people not caring about others
It is all to do with intentions |

i agree with u TT in kissin the hand, but we kiss the hand of alim not dalim! he heritats the kinkdom, he didnt become king by his knoledg!
we sould kiss hand just for ahl l3ilm! and i really beleive that he is not a 3alim! |

It is Allah swt who make a king a leader and not us. we should all pray to Allah swt to guide him and save him because believe me we do not want to end up like Algeria or Iraq. at least he is doing what he can the rest is up to Allah swt to judge |

I think the king don't like it and sometimes he is really embarrassed...it's just a tradition of Morocco I guess...  |

actually i read somewhere, think it was an interview the coolest king or something like that where he was asked about the whole hand kissing thing and he said he doesn't ask and doesn't like it?
i wouldn't like it!! even when you go to morocco and some people leave your cheek wet and thats just a handful of people imagine 100's YUCK!! poor guy |

They do kiss his hand but i am 100% sure he does not like it. there are many things he dislike but can you blame him? the Moroccans are Moroccans they will never change .I would never kiss anyone hands unless he is an elderly Scholar |
